As I stated before I love my iphone, and as my brother informed me I am a geek for posting about my iphone. But seriously anyone who has one will totally understand….right…you understand…. don’t you fellow iphone lovers!!! Anyways I have been downloading free apps and paying for a couple, but really just trying to figure this whole thing out. I want to spend a day messing with it but so far I have been in love with all the free photography apps that will enhance your photos. But the one app that has my attention morning noon and night is Tiny Tower. Its free and its addicting. I find myself updating my bities (what we tiny tower addicts call our peeps or our people). I have to get my bities in their dream jobs and build my tower to 100 floors and make money and update my elevator and….can’t you see why its so addicting! Get it and let me know what you think.

Go BSU?
Why the question mark? Well I am probably farthest from a BSU fan but it seems like if you live near Boise you have to love the broncos and everything blue and orange. My husband and I are not the types to go along with the crowd, in fact just the opposite. If all the kids are doing it then we most definitely are not doing it! Its how I have always been and its how the hubs has been too. I like it this way. I like to try and be my own person and stick out from the crowd when it comes to my thinking anyways. So this brings me to the whole BSU things. As I stated before I started a new job a few months back which I totally love. It’s a great company to work for and a great group of people. The only downfall…..almost everyone there are huge BSU fans. Normally I would just turn my nose up to the whole idea but I just couldn’t believe how much blue and orange I saw while not being at the BSU campus. So queue my great idea. I decided to make some blue and orange hair flowers and headbands to sell at work. I know….it sounds like I’m giving in doesn’t it. I guess in a way I am but as the hubs said I have to capitalize on this opportunity! This is what I’m telling myself so that its okay.
So off to hobby lobby we went in search of blue and orange fabric. It wasn’t hard to find because this time of the year you can always find blue and orange but with all the variety I wasn’t sure what to do. After spending about $15 I headed out of the store with fabric, ribbon, hair clips, and headbands. Well what do you know I was able to come up with a couple of ideas and I have to admit they look pretty darn good. Now I hope someone buys them because I don’t know what I will do with all this blue and orange considering I am not a fan….
Below are some pics of the headbands and hair flowers. I swear they are BSU blue and orange but the pictures don’t capture it just quite right.

Grease Lightning
Friday night Matt and I met his siblings and their other halves at the botanical gardens to watch Grease outside on the grass. I wasn’t sure what to expect and had never been to the botanical gardens but was up for watching one of my favorite of all time movies! We packed a cooler and bought some beach chairs and headed to the end of Boise. Once we got there I was surprised at how many people showed up and how many Sandy and Danny’s I saw, it was so cool. My sister in law Celesta, Matt, and I went exploring a little in the gardens but there was a party going on there and we weren’t sure where we could explore.
It was beautiful and the perfect temperature. It’s cool because the gardens are right next to the old penitentiary which I have never been to but it’s supposed to be haunted and I really want to go there in a month or so but my hubs is scared!
After some exploring we headed back to the grassy area to get our spot and get cozy. My nephews, Izayus, Gabe, and Michael were having a good time getting drunk.
Just kidding, it was root beer but you know how teenagers think it’s funny to act like they are drinking. Michael gave me the dirtiest look because I was eating a twix and wasn’t going to share!
Watching Grease outside was so cool and we were all singing along during the songs which made it so much better. I would recommend going to one of the outside shows at the botanical gardens next summer, a must do date night.

A Must Read–The Hunger Games Trilogy
I just finished reading the Hunger Games Trilogy and the word that comes to mind is WOW. Here is background about the book:
Every year in the ruins of what was once North America, the nation of Panem forces each of its twelve districts to send a teenage boy and girl to compete in the Hunger Games. Part twisted entertainment, part government intimidation tactic, the Hunger Games are a nationally televised event in which “Tributes” must fight with one another until one survivor remains.
Pitted against highly-trained Tributes who have prepared for these Games their entire lives, Katniss is forced to rely upon her sharp instincts as well as the mentorship of drunken former victor Haymitch Abernathy. If she’s ever to return home to District 12, Katniss must make impossible choices in the arena that weigh survival against humanity and life against love.
When I read these books I couldn’t put it down and I even re-read the last chapter. Suzanne Collins does an amazing job at making the characters feel like family. You are rooting for them and you are also sad for them which is what makes this book a page turner
There will also be a movie out in March that I’m super excited about but not getting my hopes up because they may ruin it… I have seen some of the character casting and not so impressed. Give them a read and let me know what you think.

My New Gadget Love…..
My hubby bought this for me on Saturday and I am in LOVE! I have an iPod touch which has been strapped to my hand so this little baby was a much needed upgrade. Instead of carrying around a phone and an iPod I have it all in one and it does so much more. I can’t wait to mess around with it some more but as of now I love it and am so thankful he got it for me. he said he bought it as a gratitude of appreciation for all I have been doing as a sacrifice so he can go to school full time and work part time. I too go to school and work full time. I am willing to sacrifice for my family when it will be good in the end. This little present sure helps.
