My brother, sister in law, and two nephews came into town and we were having fun with my iphone. My nephews were laughing so hard how how funny they looked.

See Spot Walk 2011

Matt,Cid, and I participated in this see spot walk in Boise a couple of weekends ago and it was a lot of fun. MWI supports all the dog activities in the area and will pay for an employee to participate. This particular walk benefited the humane society and I was all for it. It was hard to get any good pictures since we were walking and the only ones I could get were from behind but you get the idea.

Day 11 - A picture of something you hate

Animal cruelty. I am such an animal lover that I can’t understand people who hurt animals just to inflict pain.

Day 09 - A picture of the person who has gotten you through the most

100_0120As I have stated before, Matt and I have been together for a long time, over ten years to be exact. In that amount of time we have grown up a lot. When we first got together we were young and weren’t sure who we were or what we wanted. At times our relationship was rocky and we separated for a time but in the end this brought us together and we knew we wanted to walk through this life together.  Even now things aren’t easy but we have each other to lean on and that’s all that matters. I wouldn’t want to be going through this life with anyone else but him.

Day 10 - A picture of the person you do the most ****** up things with

michelle and me graduation 2001

This is a picture of me and my best friend Misty who I have talked about many times on this blog but she has been my buddy since 7th grade and we have done a lot together. We used to dare each other in middle school and high school to do crazy things and we would always seem to get ourselves in some crazy jams. Even after I moved to Idaho and she would come to visit we would somehow find something crazy to do. For example: I was dating this guy right at the end of high school who was a major tool, of course I didn’t completely realize it at the time. On the day before my graduation we had a rehearsal and my buddy was with me that day to help me celebrate. Afterwards we headed over to this guys house (we weren’t dating any longer) and decided to break into his house for fun. We went over to his bedroom window and were able to slide it open and I lifted my friend up and pushed her in. She then came around to let me in but in that process she accidently let the cat out… We tried to get the cat but it ran off. Once inside we stole a couple of CD’s, beer, and condoms. He was in the process of moving so these were the only things we could really find worth stealing! Afterwards we ran out laughing! It was a blast and I always have a good time with her. Of course we did some other things but nothing else that I can share!

Day 08 - A picture that makes you laugh

Day 07–A Picture of your most treasured item

IMG_6462

This is a picture of my wedding ring; it is a very treasured item. It’s treasured because of the meaning behind it which goes deeper than just a material thing. The meaning for marriage and all it stands for is something I hold close to my heart and something I respect more than anything. The day I got married was special, wonderful, and the day I married my best friend.

Day 06 - A picture of a person you'd love to trade places with for a day

One of the Gilmore Girls….No need to say anything more! Love them both.

Day 05 - A picture of your favorite memory

IMG_0145

First off I have to say this is a picture of my nephew Mason and isn’t he a stud?! Second I have to point out he’s wearing a glove!! I had to confirm this with my brother because I couldn’t believe that he was rocking a glove and he looked like a natural!! This picture brings to mind one very special memory and other nice ones as well.

The day my sister in law went into labor I was over four hours away but I jumped in my car when I got the call and rushed to Lapwai Idaho. When I got there of course Mason wasn’t ready to come into this world just yet so we waited another few hours until Hattie, my sister in law started to push. My brother came out and told me and my mom he wanted us in the room when he was being born. I have to admit I was scared but excited. I wasn’t sure what to expect but honored my brother allowed me to take part in this special moment. Well without getting too weird and gushy I have to say it was the best thing I have witnessed in my life so far. Seeing a human being born was amazing and I couldn’t believe how much I loved this little guy who I didn’t even carry in my own belly. He was so tiny with this big head but so cute and precious. Being able to see this miracle is a memory I will never forget.

Little Downtown Mason Brown (as he’s known to his buddies) is a spitting image of my brother Randy which brings me to my other memory. He’s hyper like my brother is/was but cute and sweet at the same time. Whenever I am around Mason I feel like I am a kid again and it’s like being around my brother. I have a great brother who works hard for his family, loves his boys, and his wife. We were always super close growing up and have remained that way for the most part. As you grow you do change but I couldn’t ask for a better brother. The one thing I notice about my brother now that we are older is that he can handle a stressful situation better than I can. He is the person you want by your side when things get rough because he stays calm and keeps everyone together. When my grandma and my step brother passed away Randy was the one that kept us all together. I tell my husband all the time that my brother is a great dad and I can’t wait for him to be an uncle to our kids one day.

Day 04 - A picture of your night

IMG_0157

Just an average night with my hubs, our dog Cid, and a movie. We like to eat dinner then go to our game/movie room and just hang out watching a movie or one of our favorite shows. This is the best thing to do but we don’t get to do it as much while I have busy classes but for the next month no class for me!!
**must admit this picture stinks but it was the only one that was half good because of our little diva aka Cid the dog**

Day 03 - A picture of the cast from your favorite show

Dexter on Showtime is the best show I have ever watched. My husband and I got hooked on this show and have remained loyal fans. Last year from Christmas he got me blood slide coasters and the Dexter bobble head. Any true Dexter fan would be jealous! The writers on this show do a great job at keeping you on the edge of your seat and biting your nails through the whole episode. There are also books on this show that would be an interesting read.

Below is the plot of the show:

Orphaned at the age of three due to the murder of his mother, Dexter Morgan is adopted by Miami police officer Harry Morgan and his wife Doris. After discovering that young Dexter has been killing a multitude of neighborhood pets for several years, Harry tells Dexter that he believes the need to kill "got into" him at too young of an age, and that he believes Dexter's need to kill will only grow. To keep Dexter from killing innocent people, Harry begins teaching Dexter "The Code." In this code, Dexter's victims must be killers themselves who have killed someone without justifiable cause and will likely do so again. Dexter must also always be sure that his target is guilty, and thus, frequently goes to extreme lengths to get undeniable proof of his victim's guilt. Most importantly, Dexter must never get caught. Flashbacks throughout the series show Harry, who died several years before, instructing Dexter on how to fake human behavior, how to cover his tracks after a kill, and even how to stranglehold a target to knock them out and capture them.

Dexter has followed The Code religiously to satisfy his "Dark Passenger" (the name he has assigned to his urge to kill). Like many serial killers, he keeps trophies; before dispatching a wrongdoer, Dexter makes an incision on their cheek with a scalpel and collects a blood sample, which he preserves on a blood slide. He stores his collection in a box concealed inside his air conditioner.

In the beginning of the series, Dexter states that he has no emotions, and he has to work non-stop to appear normal and blend in with the other people around him. Initially, Dexter is (with varying success) able to fake 'normal' emotions and maintain his appearance as an unremarkable friend and neighbor. He does maintain a few personal relationships early on, stating that he is "fond" of his adoptive sister Debra. She is unaware of Harry's training or Dexter's secret life, but harbors lingering jealousy of the perceived preferential treatment Harry gave Dexter. As part of his "disguise" in season one, Dexter dates a woman named Rita who is too traumatized from years of abuse at the hands of her ex-husband, Paul Bennett, to be intimate with Dexter. This suits Dexter, who believes getting intimate will reveal his darker side to Rita. He is fond of (and good with) children in general, particularly Rita's two children, Astor and Cody.

10.  I love God and try to pray everyday.

Day 2: A picture of you and the person you have been closest with the longest

Famous Pose

Misty Bellin now Murray is the person who I have been the closest with the longest. I met her in seventh grade and we have stayed friends even though we live a state away. The first picture is probably of either 7th or 8th grade and a typically pose you would see from us. The second is when Misty got married and I let her borrow my tiara and put it on her. It was a special moment that I will IMG_6510

cherish always. She knows me and has always excepted me. Even being so far away I know we will always stay friends. She’s my P.I buddy and my best friend.
