I have been in a weird rut of sorts. I think its typical for this time of year with the weather and time change. Work has been exhausting then I come home to do homework until I go to bed. This is my life Monday through Friday. Saturdays and Sundays have been my catch-up for sleep but then I try and cram all the things I have been wanting to do into these two measly days. I am longing for the days when I’m done with school. The days when I can start crafting, doing house projects, reading, and watching TV without feeling guilty because of school.
Matt’s mom has been living with us since May and its been interesting to say the least. I’m super happy we can help her out but at the same time its hard because we can’t do some things (if you know what I mean) because her room is below ours. Its been a weird time in our lives! We are super grateful to have her here. She pays us rent every month and that extra money has helped us pay off my car and now the money will go toward paying off a credit card. Our goal is to have our basic house needs, Matt’s car payment, and one credit card when he has to start his program. I will be the main supporter because Matt might have to quit his job at Pepsi. Were hoping they will work with him and he can stay on part time. His IT program is Monday through Friday 1pm to 5pm, which makes it hard for someone to have a normal work schedule. Right now we are just trying to get ourselves in a somewhat comfortable spot so money won’t be so tight. We both would sacrifice so much for our future and we know it will only be hard for a while! Matt still has two years left until he’s done with school and I think I might have about the same. Well I better go for now….. off to do homework.
